Frank walks down hall and knocks on appartment door.
Short wait then door opens.
It is Jez, her happy expression falls when she sees him.
FRANK
<moment of uncomfortable silence>
May I come in?
The two enter, camera follows.
Frank follow Jez to kitchen.
FRANK
<moody silence>
I came here to talk about us
JEZ
Frank...
I been thinking very carefully
and things havn’t been good between us
for a few months..
<pause>
I think its over
Frank looks dejected,
then he looks angry.
FRANK
You’re seeing someone!
JEZ
Its not what you think
She is cut off by cellphone ring from her handbag nearby.
They both look at the handbag. <FAST CUT from face to face>
Frank grabs handbag and answers phone without speaking.
They both glare angrily.
FRANK
Oh..
<disappointed>
its your friend..
Shannon Again
JEZ
<takes phone>
Hello?
EXTERIOR: FRONT DOOR OF JEZ BUILDING
A cute girl is on her cell. This is Shannon.
SHANNON
Hey Jez
I’m downstairs
Buzzing sound from front door, Shannon enters.
INTERIOR: JEZ APARTMENT
Jez and Frank turn to see Shannon walk in (apartment door was unlocked).
Shannons expression changes when she sees Frank.
SHANNON
Hi...
long time no see
<uncomfortable silence>
JEZ
Frank.. there’s something you
should know about me..
Jez puts her arm around Shannons waist.
Shannon flashes a sweet smile and rests her
head on Jez shoulder.
Frank looks on in disbeleif, then crestfallen.
Finally he becomes angry and raises his fist.
FRANK
<accusing>
You WERE seeing someone else !
Both girls answer with a sweet mocking smile while embracing.
Frank lowers his fist.
FRANK
A girl? You’re seeing a girl?
Thats not possible..
whats wrong with a man?
Whats wrong with me?
<pause>
How do you think that makes ME feel?
Both girls answer with a sweet mocking smile while embracing.
FRANK
<angry again>
You were useless in bed anyway!
He storms off towards the front door.
The two girls follow hand in hand.
Jez pushes the front door closed after him but Frank holds it ajar.
FRANK
You can’t leave me Jez..
you’re the best thing that ever happened to me
JEZ
Goodbye Frank
Frank passes a photo of them together.
FRANK
Never forget...
<pause>
ha.. I know you will remember me!
He walks off with his head held high.
Jez closes the door, screws up the picture and throws it.
Shannon abruptly lets go of Jez hand.
SHANNON
<laughing with twinkle in her eye>
Tsk Tsk
I demand an explanation for these shenanigans!

Jez turns to yell to the bedroom
JEZ
Hey Mark !
You can come out now!
Mark comes out of the bedroom wearing jeans and no shirt.
