Revolver Script

PART ONE - THE SETUP

INTERIOR APARTMENT
Opening shot is of a GANGSTA firing at the camera, his gun jams after one shot. This is RICO's Point-Of-View. He stands a little away from a table where RICO, CARLOS and two other GANGSTAS sit. RICO kills the other two GANGSTAS.

RICO
Your two boys are now dead and
your gun is jammed.
You still think you can play me?

CARLOS
You see this revolver?
This was my fathers gun...
its a lucky weapon.. (CARLOS fires)
.. and this gun never jams.

He nudges body with his foot and turns to RICO to ask

CARLOS
Rico, are you hit?

RICO touches a burn mark on his neck where bullet grazed his skin.

RICO
No, bullet just missed

CARLOS looks around the room and sees a pack of TAROT CARDS nearby. He picks one up and stares at it. The camera leads the viewer from the card to a nearby door. Behind the door hides another GANGSTA. RICO notices CARLOS’ glance and he fires through the door killing the GANGSTA. Outside in the street the sound of gunfire is noticed.

PART TWO - THE BODY

On the table are STAMP BAGS (drugs) and MONEY which CARLOS is sifting through with the end of his revolver. RICO stands at the window looking out.

RICO
I can guess Carlos,
you don’t have to tell me.
These bags are empty.

CARLOS
Yeh, most of them.

RICO’s phone rings and EL G-ADOR's voice is heard. Camera cuts to car interior.

EL G-ADOR
Yo Rico ... what up?

RICO
This was a setup,
these bags are empty.

EL G-ADOR
Damn. ....

RICO
Where are you parked

EL G-ADOR
Out of sight, quiet street
on the other side of the building

RICO
Hmmm ...
There must be more of their crew nearby..

EL G-ADOR
(looks out window)
You are right, be careful Rico,
streets is hot right now..

RICO
Okay, so we will use
the fire escape and cut across the roof.
Stay there .. we will come to you.

EL G-ADOR
Aiight

While RICO talks, CARLOS walks to another room. Waiting on the fire escape is the STANDOFF GANGSTA.

RICO
Yo Carlos...
where you at?

STANDOFF GANGSTA surprises CARLOS and they enter a stand-off. Each with a gun at the others head.

STANDOFF GANGSTA
Where’s the money at?
Where’s the money at?
Where’s the money at?

RICO also enters the room with his gun pointed, he still has his phone on.

RICO
Drop the gun!
Drop the gun!
Drop the gun!

Inside the car EL G-ADOR hears all of these on his cell phone. He drives quickly to the building enterance.

RICO
(speaks into phone)
Are you still there?
Talk to me son..

RICO looks out window and sees more GANGSTAS entering the building and start up the stairs.

RICO
Carajo !

STANDOFF GANGSTA
Ha Ha Ha
You can’t fight all of us..

RICO
(speaks into phone)
Where are you son?
Talk to me...

The situation is tense and looks bad. CARLOS and the STANDOFF GANGSTA each holding a gun to the others head, both stare intently. They both pull the trigger.

RICO
Nooooooooo!!!!

CARLOS has another psychic vision and because of this he dodges the STANDOFF GANGSTA’s bullet. The STADOFF GANGSTA dies from CARLOS's bullet. RICO stares in shock.

PART THREE - THE CONCLUSION

INTERIOR STAIRWELL
The GANGSTAS from outside, charge up the stairs and burst through the door of the apartment. RICO, still in shock, fires at them without looking. The bullet hits one of them in the stomach, then RICO dives for cover.

The WOUNDED GANGSTA falls in the doorway and the others back off. They then part to reveal DIABLO who is walking slowly up the stairs to the apartment. DIABLO is the leader of the GANGSTAS and the orchestrator of the setup. He enters the apartment and sees the dead bodies.

DIABLO holds his gun to the head of the WOUNDED GANGSTA in the doorway.

WOUNDED GANGSTA
sorry..
they were too fast

DIABLO
Hmmm

The WOUNDED GANGSTA is in pain with a bullet in his stomach. The audience thinks DIABLO will kill him to put him out of his misery. Instead DIABLO leaves him to his agony.

DIABLO walks to an open window and looks down at the empty fire escape. CARLOS and RICO are gone.

Inside the car, CARLOS, RICO and EL G-ADOR speed through the streets.

END.
